- 1 cup pistachio
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder
- 2-3 drops of green food color (optional)
- Soak the pistachios in warm water for 30 minutes.
- Peel the pistachios and blend them to make a fine paste, after draining the water.
- Add sugar and ½ cup of water in a non-stick pan to make sugar syrup of 1 string consistency.
- Add pista paste and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and keep aside to set for about an hour.
- Cut into equal square pieces and serve.
